Hi! My name is Sara.

I started my own personal blog more than a year ago and spent a great amount of my time constantly trying to make my blog looks its best.  From the beginning I wanted a design that said something about me and my personality as well as a template that was clean and easy to navigate for my readers at the same time.

Anyone who has read my personal blog for a while knows it has seen quite a few makeovers as time went one. I continuously practiced removing items, adding items, changing out banners, adding columns, and more. Through the process I learned quite a bit as well as had alot of fun.

After feeling satisfied with my personal blog, I decided to begin to create layouts for other bloggers!

Building my Blog Design site was something I thought of one day and just jumped on it! The site was the easy part. But the blog name was tricky. At first I was just creating banners so I used the domain “Pretty Page Toppers”. One I started doing full layouts I switched over to “The Custom Blog” and now today months later after I have had more time to think of a site name that best represents me. I am now “Stylish Blog Design”

I really want to help you create a banner and layout that you will be happy with and proud of!

Blogger Blogs- I can help you create a banner as described above or a complete 1, 2 or 3 column template. With a header, menu bar and completely widget ready! At the moment I am only creating WordPress designs.

WordPress (Self Hosted Blogs) What I can do with wordpressblogs is a bit more than blogger. I can do exactly what is mentioned above for WordPress but I can also give you a custom magazine style layout, A picture slide show as well as multiple columns for your posts~ I used the blogger platform for quite a few months so I am very comfortable with how it operates and what it is capable of. But have since moved my personal blog to wordpress and have been loving all the features that are available within the program. Xoxo! Sara

Please read this fully before contacting me for a design. I just want to make sure we are on the same page ALSO this post may better explain some items in the design process and what you are needing for your site.

A blog design….

• A blog design is the template and banner for your blog. This is the appearance of your blog. The banner with your site name, the toolbar, the formatting of the side columns and the post columns. to summarize the design is the format or how your blog will look- not the function of your blog.

Blog feature and functions.

• All of my designs function with most widgets and plugins. These items are added after the design has been installed and will add features and different options to your blog. However I do not create widgets or plugins.
• If you are choosing a design from the site or a custom design, all templates can be edited to be used with Blogger or WordPress.org (self hosted) Also all 2 column templates can easily be changed to 3 columns templates or vice versa.

Before starting your design

• I would love to help you put together your design for your sites design. But I need some help. Please be clear in what you are looking for so I can better interpret what you are looking for. I may love a idea or font, but you may not feel the same. Communicate with me. There are so many options and its simple to put together once we are on the same page!
• If you would like to have images in your design, please look through stock art sites and show me examples of what you like. Searching images is very time consuming. What appeals to me, may not appeal to you. Click here for some stock art design links
• Time is very important to me because I am so busy.  The time I spend on your template is time I could be working on another project. So to confirm your interest a deposit is required before I begin work on any design.
